DHARAMSALA

A journey into to heart of Tibetan Buddhism

dharamsala

The majority of the People I met in
Dharamsala invited me to share part of
their lives and thoughts with them,
such as Tibetan Buddhists or the young
women who told me about their escape
from Tibet and the severe
circumstances in which they have
to raise their children now.
But also waiters and cabdrivers who
made a great effort to speak a foreign
language and asked me to translate and
write down common and important
phrases in English and German for them.
I met physicians that, through
diagnosing the pulse, trace even the
most hidden illness of their patients
and prescribe the convenient herbal
medicine along the way.
I visited children at an orphanage
directed by one of the sisters
of the Dalai Lama.
